Friday Favorites (face cleanser, blush, watch, dress, app!)

FRIDAY! So glad we made it. I’ve got a fun weekend ahead of me – firepit outing + dinner with friends tonight, and then no plans the rest of the weekend! (Other than running, of course. ūüôā ) I’m hoping to get outside for an off-our-regularly beaten-path walk with Maizey at some point too! The fall colors are finally starting to come out in Winston¬†and I want to soak it all in.

Alright, onto Friday Favorites! Here’s what I’m loving lately!

This Face Cleanser

After I posted about my skincare routine, Colleen Rothschild Skincare¬†reached out and asked if I wanted to try a few products. I happily accepted (duh) and holy moly…THIS CLEANSER….is so good. To be honest, I didn’t think a cleanser mattered that much for dry skin, that it was all about the right moisturizer. Well, I was wrong. It’s made my skin buttery soft.

Colleen Rothschild Cleansing Balm

It’s a thick balm that you apply and wipe off with a cloth. It smells delicious too.

They sent me this radiance serum which I really like so far too. I swear my skin looks better immediately after putting it on Рis that even possible? And this exfoliating polish is AMAZING. My skin looks like I had a facial afterwards. I have a feeling I may switch over from Origins to Colleen Rothschild

This blush

If you follow me on Snapchat, you may have seen that I dropped and shattered my beloved blush. It was a total disaster. But when I went to replace it, I loved my blush even more because it’s only $10. It gives the best peachy bronze glow and stays on really well. It’s super buildable too, and I like that it’s not too¬†shimmery. I’ve tried way pricier blushes (like the good ol’ classic Nars Orgasm) and think this is just as good. It also has a little compartment with a blush brush, so it’s great to throw in your purse if you need to touch up. My shade is Blushing Peach.

I found it digging through some old files. Bahaha, this shark costumer didn’t exactly fit.¬†I wish I had a better costume for her because this pet costume contest looks kind of amazing. If you need a good laugh, go look at the submitted photos. Dying.

I also found this photo from our dear friend’s wedding (who just had their 1 year anniversary!!) while digging through old pics. I mean…Tommy’s the cutest. Right? How on earth is he my boyfriend? I am so dang lucky.

I also really want an excuse to wear that dress again because I LOVE IT. But not those heels¬†– they were torture. The brand of the dress is Adelyn Rae, and I can’t find my exact one but they still sell similar styles that are so so pretty. (Like this one,¬†this one,¬†and¬†this one!)¬†I love all the asymmetrical hems on her dresses! (Is it too early to shop for holiday parties? I think not.)

This watch

I’ve wanted a watch with a leather band for years. (My friend Anna can attest to this.) It always just seems like a frivolous purchase since I already have this watch (granted the¬†battery is dead and I’m too lazy to get it replaced). But man, this one is gorgeous and the price is right. I think it would go with everything too!

This software on my MacBook

f.lux is a free software for your Mac¬†that adjusts the light on your screen¬†as the day goes on to help decrease the blue light emitted, which can interrupt sleep. I’m obsessed. It also makes me get off my computer earlier since the light adjustment serves as a reminder for how late it is.

Okay, I’m off! Hope you have an amazing Friday!

Don’t know how it would have worked with your blush, though, since it isn’t one solid color throughout.
