I am LOVING that spring is finally here! Although, we got teased a little bit with temperatures in the 80s and then it’s dropping back into the 40s this week. But for a couple weeks, I thoroughly enjoyed some spring fashion. Here are some of my favorites!
My church is very casual, but I still enjoy an excuse to get a little dressed up! I grew up always wearing dresses to church, and while I’m comfortable wearing jeans now, it was definitely an adjustment at first. But, if the weather allows, I’ll always pick a dress or skirt over jeans, church or not.
I am LOVING this combo. This blouse and skirt are so fun and feminine together! And I’m so glad I finally bought a belt I like. I’ve been wearing it non-stop and it just makes me feel more put together.
I remember the first time I saw Lilly Pulitzer, I was like, What on EARTH is that grown woman wearing? Ahem, now I have many Lilly dresses in my closet. (I love their tanks too…and I’m eyeing shorts). 😉 One thing I especially love about Lilly dresses is that they fit like a dream, and given my muscular body, that is impressive. (All my Lilly dresses fit better after I started crossfit and got more muscle!)
I’ve had this J.Crew skirt for 8 years and I loved the pattern but it was too big on me. (I lost about 15 lbs from the time I bought it). I finally took it to a tailor, had her take it in and shorten it and now I’m obsessed. Definitely work the $8 alteration! (And there’s that belt again! How did I live without it?)
I loooove striped tops. The end. I have a red & white one, pink & white, black & white, navy & white. I wore this for casual Friday.
When I travel for work, I always take dresses that pack easily. They take up less space than pants + blouse and I instantly look put together. And that’s a good thing for meetings, especially when I’m meeting with leadership folks.
Alright, I’m off to get ready bed! If you missed my last post with current sales, check out the Weekender!
