Gettin’ down to shopping business: How to prep for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017

You guys, I am SO excited that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is just around the corner! I feature Nordstrom sales regularly on the blog, but this is the best sale all year long.

Early access for members starts this Thursday, July 13 and then opens up to everyone on July 21, so I wanted to give you a quick overview of the sale details + what you’ll find. One thing I’ve learned the hard way with this sale is that if you love something, buy it ASAP. Things sell out crazy fast. (My usual shopping strategy is to put things in a shopping cart and let it sit for a few days…do NOT use that strategy for this sale.)

What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

Major markdowns on current and new trends. It’s NOT last season or going out of season items, which is why it’s so popular. It’s brand-new styles on sale. Hello beautiful fall clothing.

When does it start?

Early access on July 13 for Nordstrom members. Public access opens July 21.

What brands will I find?

You’ll find a ton of brands for men and women’s clothing and accessories, including some of my favorites – J.Crew, Topshop, Halogen, Sam Edelman, Steve Madden, Paige, Zella, Nike, Rebecca Minkoff, plus hundreds of others. They just published the sale catalog and I’m swooning. The sale catalog is post on this page, if you scroll down just a bit.

When does it end?

August 6

How can I shop?

I’ll post my favorites on the blog and on Instagram. Be sure to sign up for (free) so you’ll get shopping details emailed to you by “liking” my pictures on Instagram. I’ll also update my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Shop Page with items I find and love (and will probably update that faster than I can blog about it, so keep an eye on that).

I also finally became a Nordstrom rewards member just to make sure I could shop the sale early since I’m looking for some specific things. Since I shop with Nordstrom so often, it makes sense to earn money back there. (Plus, you get a $20 note to spend when you sign up.)

Cannot wait!

Blogging is not my full-time gig, but running a blog isn't free. I pay for blog theme updates, hosting fees, domain fees, and other expenses to keep it up, functioning and hacker-free.

To help keep my blog accessible and free, I include affiliate links from time to time and receive a small percentage of purchases you make. I don't link to products that I wouldn't personally buy, so rest assured I won't refer you to crap! :)
