All the Best Things Bowl: The Cure to Skipping Take Out

This recipe has been on repeat lately. It’s so quick to throw together for lunch or dinner, and you can add more things or remove but this is my favorite combo. It came together when I was thinking about what I had at home I could throw together for a quick dinner but I was tempted to just go get takeout Thai.

But, then I realized I had all these random items in my fridge and they are my favorite foods, and I thought it would be just as satisfying to combine them all as a big bowl of panang curry would be. Well, almost. πŸ˜‰ You can adjust the ingredients depending on what your favorite combo is or how hungry you are. πŸ™‚

All the Best Things Bowl
serves 1Β

  • 1/2-1 cup quinoa (I used red quinoa)
  • 1/4-1/2 cup black beans
  • 1/4-1/2 avocado
  • 1-2 eggs (I like it cooked over easy or over medium so the yolk can serve as a dressing πŸ™‚ )
  • cilantro
  • Omnivore Salt (or regular salt is fine)
  • black pepper
  • hot sauce

    Yum that looks really good!
People always ask me how I can eat so many salads, really I just throughout all of my favorite foods and what I’m craving in one bowl.

How can you not like that? Haha

Have you ever been to Tupelo Honey Cafe? They have a breakfast bowl that this reminds me of, and it is oh-so delicious!!
