Yayyyy Friday! My real favorite thing today is the cool morning air I woke up to. It was heavenly walking Maizey. I love summer and am not ready for it to fade away (besides, I just booked my first beach trip of the year!), but it definitely gave me a little itch for fall. These are some other things I’m loving!
I love a good creamy cleanser but sometimes they don’t leave my face feeling very clean. This is the perfect balance of creamy and gentle but thorough. My skin feels clean but not stripped of oils. Just how I think it should. And the bottle is pretty. 🙂 (Arbonne is sold through a rep like Mary Kay or Avon, so if you need a rep, let me know and I can connect you with mine.)
I love this podcast that Meg and Shawn have started. They address all sorts of reader-submitted questions about nutrition and fitness (including some questions I’ve submitted!). They both have great training and personal experience overcoming some health challenges too, so I trust and respect their advice.
I’m loving these CoffeeBars that were sent to me — seriously so delicious and a nice kick of caffeine before a workout or when I’m dragging and hungry. They’re a little high in sugar, but man they’re tasty. And given that the majority of the sugar content comes from dates (a whole food), I feel much better about it than if the bars contained refined sugars. (Fun fact: the founders started the business in their dorm room which I think is cool. Another fun fact: they offered a giveaway to my readers – see below to enter!)
You know how I told you I fried my hair? My coworker recommended this deep conditioner and it has taken my hair to a much better state. It’s still a little straw-like but this helped a TON.
I’ve been having some crazy dark circles and puffiness lately (which the lovely ladies at The Nourished Podcast addressed for me in last week’s podcast after I submitted a question to them about it!). I got this sample with a Sephora purchase and LOVE it. It looks a little shimmery but when you put it on, it illuminates perfectly. I save it for moments when I really need it, i.e. when my dark circles are particularly bad, and I’m going to see Tommy and want to look pretty. 🙂 I need to just buy some more. (Don’t forget to use eBates if you buy this online from Sephora! 4% cash back!)
Johnny, from New Grounds CoffeeBar, offered a giveaway to my readers! (Happy Friday indeed!) To enter, leave a comment and tell me how you take your coffee.
If you want an extra entry, tweet about the giveaway – be sure to leave a separate comment letting me know you did. A sample tweet is below if you just want to use that, or make up your own.
