Yay for Friday! Last night I had a great dinner with a friend and then came home to snuggle the pup and catch up on Nashville. (Anyone else watch??? gahhhh!! I don’t know what I want Rayna to do!)
I went to Pure Barre this morning. I allllmost skipped because I didn’t sleep well, but I’m glad I went. (I reminded myself I wouldn’t be able to go back to sleep anyway, and I wouldn’t regret going.) It was a great workout. I could barely finish the seat section! And, Carolyn’s bulldog Deacon was there. ha! He is so stinking cute. Would NOT hold still for a photo.
He’s like a compressed version of Maizey.
After Pure Barre, I fried up some farm-fresh eggs that I got from a coworker who raises chickens. Farm-fresh eggs taste a million times better than store-bought eggs. I cooked them in a little bit of coconut oil. Obsessed with that combo. I’ll probably make a green smoothie before I head out the door too.
I have a busy weekend ahead of me – tea with friends on Saturday, half marathon on Sunday, friends over for dinner on Sunday. Should be fun!
Alright on to…
Friday Favorites!
Chocolate Matcha Energy Balls.
I have a ton of matcha tea that got sent to me a while ago and I just haven’t gone through it very quickly. Looks like a great way to use it up!
Gluten Free Nutella Bread. NUTELLA. BREAD. The end.
I love anything lime. And I can’t wait to try these key lime pie bars.
And these dairy-free, soy-free key lime cheesecakes.
This outfit. I love the shorts, the drapey top, the earrings, the watch. Totally Southern. 🙂 And kind of obsessed with the tumblr the outfit was out, Southern Charm.
I love poached eggs over spaghetti and this spin on it sounds especially good.
I want these. I really really want these. The Classic Gap sandal. Classic indeed. Why are they sold out??! boo.
My new white plates, bowls and especially, the salad/pasta bowls. Previously, I had a mismatch of dishes. And when I found a Macy’s gift card in my wallet (no clue where it came from!), I snatched up a new set of dishes. Everythingwas an extra 15% off and I used eBates (<– referral link) for cash back so I got another $10 off, essentially. Wahoo!
I LOVE how clean and organized it looks. I think I’ll eventually replace my plastic cups to create even more uniformity (sometimes I just hate drinking out of glass for some reason). I’ll keep a couple of my favorite colorful bowls though. I might just move them to a different cupboard so it’s all crisp and white in this one. ha!
Alright, time to finish getting ready. Have a great day!

atNutella bread!!?? Looks pretty stinkin awesome. I’m a little jealous of your matching dishware. I am still in the college, get what you can get phase and have a million different bowls, dishes, and glasses. One day I will be come a grown up, one day.

atI’ve never regretted going to Pure Barre, even when I have been super tired. It’s always woken me up and energized me. I’m impressed you have room enough in your studio for a dog to roam, my studio is so tiny! The room itself is bigger than the rest of the space.
Nutella bread….yeah I am going to be making that this weekend!!

atGosh, I love Ebates. I went a little crazy with their 15% deals this week.

atYour dessert picks this week look so delicious! Also, I have to vouch for those GAP sandals. I bought a pair with black straps a month or so ago online during a sale, and just got around to wearing them this week (it has not been very warm in Chicago!) They are SO comfortable. I bet they’ll come back in stock soon!

atHow easy would it be for a newbie to do a pure barre class? I have always been intrigued, but never gotten into a studio. Love farm fresh eggs!
Teri [a foodie stays fit]
atOh a newbie could definitely do it!! Almost every class I’ve been in has had a first timer. And, everyone was a newbie at one point! You may need to take breaks occasionally but lots of people do. Tthe core section and the butt section are so tough for me; I still take breaks even after going on and off for a year! Just let the instructor know you’re new so they can explain what it means when they say “tuck.” 🙂

atI love cooking my eggs in a little coconut oil! Glad somebody else does it too! Anything with Nutella in it is HEAVEN.

atI wish I’d known how amazing the egg + coconut oil combo was years ago!!! I’m going to go make one right now. ha!

atI love your Friday night comfy pants!! I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who’s relaxing clothes have a couple of holes (my favorite sweatshirt basically no longer has a back!!). Just cannot part with comfort especially in my own home!!
I also love your white plates – I changed out to white a couple of years ago and I LOVE it!! Makes everything look so clean and neat!

atOMG these pants are SO holey. I’ve had them since I was like 12! I stole them from my mom. They used to have elastic ankles that I’d put my feet in and shuffle around. Eventually I cut them to crops because I wore holes in the bottom. They are so thin and worn out but I just can’t get rid of them!
Seriously, I’m obsessed with the white dishes. OBSESSED. 🙂 It does look so neat!
