Girls Weekend

Last Friday night kicked off girls weekend. I thought just Allison and Crystal were coming because Leslie and Gabi had to work. But, when Allison arrived from DC around midnight, she had Gabi and Leslie with her!! Crystal and I were so surprised (she’d arrived earlier that night) and so excited that they were able to come! Those sneaky girls. 😉 We’ve been so lucky that we’ve been able to get together multiple times this year! (Weekend 1, Weekend 2)

The reason they were in town was the Wake Forest Law School Young Alumni reunion. I went with them to the tailgate and we nearly all froze. (Some nice guy finally let Crystal wear his sweater. 🙂 ) We went into the game for a little bit (to get our free hats- sweet 😉 ), and then came home to warm up.

We did what we usually do on girls weekend; chat, relax, drink a little wine, order thai food, eat cheese, and nap. Crystal snapped this picture of Maizey snuggling me Friday night while we watched Scandal. Sweet pup. 

But as soon as Annie arrived, Maizey forgot all about me. They played nonstop. 

Everyone has gone home, which stinks since I have today off work and nothing really to do. I wish they could have all stuck around today but some people didn’t get today off. I guess I’ll keep doing laundry, run a few errands, and maybe catch up on some emails.
