1/4 cup (dry) of steel cut oats
1 1/2 cups water
pinch of salt (optional)
- Combine 1/2 cup of steel cut oats with 1 1/2 cups of water into a pot and place on the stovetop.
- Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer and cover.
- Cook the oats for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- When the water has been absorbed by the oats, place into a bowl, add toppings and enjoy!
