We’ve had so much rain the last few months and Hunter boots have been lifesavers. I almost returned them since I didn’t take them to Ireland like I planned, but never got around to it. I busted them out when we had so much snow a few weeks ago and they were PERFECT. And I have been shocked at how comfortable they are.
I have the Packable Tour Hunter Boots, but those are sold out in green. If you definitely want green, the Original Hunter boots are still available in hunter green. The packable tour version is lighter weight and foldable – I don’t think I’d actually pack these, so if I were to do it again, I’d probably get the originals. And now that I know how comfortable Hunter boots are, I also want these short Hunter rain booties! They’ll be great when it warms up a little but the rain doens’t go away. (Spring in the South!!)
I’ve been shocked at how versatile boots to be so versatile too with a variety of outfits too.
I figured Hunter boots are in the casual category, but I paired them with cashmere. Oh so fancy. 😉 Side note about my favorite cashmere sweater – I LOVE this one from J.Crew that comes in literally 20 colors. (For reference, I bought an XS.) And yes, I wear white jeans all year round. Hey, I put in a lot of work to find the perfect pair!
With plaid. Classic. 🙂 I layered a sweater over this before I headed out!
What size hunter boots should I get?
I got my usual size 6 and they’re perfect. I’d say they run maybe a tad large but that’s perfect for me since I have a slightly wide foot.
Can you wear hunter boots in the snow?
I did! And they’re so warm and kept me totally dry. I’m eyeing these boot liners so they’re even warmer.
Am I the last person on earth to finally get a pair of Hunter Boots? Instagram sure makes it seem like it! 😉 Any others obsessed? On the fence? Any tips from long-time aficionados?
