I got my third Fix and was really happy overall! They’re getting better at nailing my style and fit. And I’m finding that using StitchFix is actually helping me shop less because I tell them what I need and then I don’t impulse shop. I keep a “wishlist” of things on my desk and then when it’s time for a new Fix, I update the notes for my stylist.
So, here’s what I’m keeping (the item #s are included at the bottom of the post if you want to mention them to your stylist):
Loveappella Zola Asymmetrical Striped Dress – $58
Romolo Preston Carved Crescent Bib Necklace – $28
I was a little torn on this dress at first but the fit was just too perfect. Plus, it made me feel cute when I put it on! I hate that the lines on the side don’t line up though. I’ve gotten a couple things from them where patterns don’t line up and it drives me nuts.
The asymmetrical hem was why I was wavering at first. But I decided (with the input of some friends!) that it made the dress more interesting and less basic. And I have plenty of basics and need to branch out. I also hate shopping for jewelry and don’t have that much, so I decided to keep the necklace too since a quick scan of my closet made me feel confident it would go with a lot of things I already own.
Collective Concepts Kayce Dress – $78
I got this dress in a previous Fix but it was too small so I asked that they send it again. I had also told them that I had a casual wedding to attend this month and would like a dress option for that. This is perfect. I love this dress and the bigger size fit great.
I love the slightly longer drop hem in the back too.
What I’m sending back:
Olive & Oak Ganese Crew Neck Blouse – $44
I wasn’t a fan of the colors or the fit. It felt too boxy and it made me feel kind of masculine somehow. This picture doesn’t show it but it looked like my shoulders were super broad in person.
Brixon Ivy Pinson Drape Cardigan – $54
I asked for a summer weight cardigan. I liked the cut of this but hated the color so it’s going back.
Here’s the style card of everything.
And here’s the outfit card that came with it. Grocery list not included. 😉
