atLove this list and didn’t know about some of these places! I also love to shop at Nekkid Dave and Monkees in Reynolda Village.

atI like Hero House for gyros, Greek salads & souvlaki. And I require their chocolate cake once a month!

atoooh, that reminds me that I haven’t been to Hero House forever! And I’ve never tried their chocolate cake. Thanks for the comment! 🙂

atHi Teri! I’m a regular reader & new blogger. I like that you added a hometown tab. I’m very passionate about supporting local businesses. I hope that we can connect. I love your blog. Happy New Year!

atAs far as sushi is concerned, Oriental Cafe of off Hanes Mall has excellent sushi! I have heard mixed reviews on their other dishes but I don’t think a bad word can be said about their sushi. Not only is it fresh and delicious, they come up with some fantastic ways to present the rolls! Hands down the best sushi in Winston.

atSo cool that you live in Winston! Me too! Sometimes I feel like I’m the only Winston blogger 😉 haha! You have some great suggestions on here. I’m a vegetarian, and am sad to say I haven’t tried a lot of these restaurants! I need to get on it!

atI also like K-9 doggy bakery and 3pooches in paradise (dog walkers and dog sitters). (For those dog lovers in the Winston-Salem area!)

Perhaps there is a way you are able to remove me from that service?
Thanks!

athi! there should be an option to unsubscribe in the emails you get. Have you tried using that option?

atI have been following your blog off-and-on for a little over a year. I am in Winton-Salem on business today and am using your suggestions above to choose the restaurant for dinner 🙂

atOh awesome! Welcome to town! Where did you end up eating? The Big Eat is going on (awesome price on a one-dish special at restaurants around town) so I hope you stumbled into one of those options too! Usually pretty fun.

atHey Teri,
Having just moved to Winston, I’m so excited to have just found your blog. My husband and I really love Foothills (for their beer, more than their food) and Small Batch (for both food and drinks). We’ll definitely be trying some of the other places you suggested that we haven’t been to yet, and I’ll be following your blog, too. Thanks!

atWe really enjoy West End Coffeehouse! The people there are really nice and they have unique flavors to try all the time.
We are also kind of in love with Tarte Sweets… Their macarons are to die for!
Daniel Baird
atHave you tried Carmines 901 Grill at 901 Reynolda Road. They bake their own bread, make their sauces and pesto. Everything is fresh and very good. My staff and I love it and it is right down the street from our design & print shop. All the entrees are $9.01.

atIf any you guys love good coffee I really urge you try SWEET AROMAZ on 6th Street between trade St and liberty St
The owners are really sweet and the coffee is amazing better than twin City hyve or krankies coffee.
I also had Nitro coffee there and nitro chai tea

atI don’t think I ever been to any of these.
