My Favorite K-Cup (so far)

Guys, I am whipped. I just went to a Bikram class for the first time in months and it kicked.my.butt. I still stand by my stance that Vinyasa yoga is harder from a strength and balance standpoint – I’ve gotten some serious toning from flow yoga – but Bikram ain’t no joke. Especially with the guy that taught tonight.

I pushed harder than I ever have and am completely wiped out. I can hardly type and I have no energy to make dinner. I want someone to bring me a big bucket of mussels. Who craves mussels after Bikram? Me.

I’m also craving a big mug of coffee but that’s not advisable at 8:45 at night. And these days, this is my K-cup of choice. I’ve tried a lot of different pods for my Keurig – Starbucks (I like the Blonde roast), Dunkin Donuts, Green Mountain. But I really really like this Caribou Coffee Caribou Blend. A lot.

Now, I’m going to go eat peanut butter out of the jar. Or something else that requires minimal effort.  Namaste.

    I love Caribou, too! If you enjoy strong coffee, I LOVE Jet Fuel… for flavored coffee, the Timothy’s mocha java and german chocolate cake are pretty delicious!

    Caribou blend is my favorite too. My internship has a keurig in the break room I pound those things down!
    Fun fact: I wrote a 20-page paper about Caribou Coffee for a business class I was taking last semester. I could tell you anything and everything about Caribou. The paper sucked, but at least their coffee is still amazing.

      That is cool! Overall, is Caribou a “good” company? Like good practices for getting their coffee and things like that? I like to support companies that are ethical and environmentally friendly!

        Yes! Their coffees are all 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified! They were the first major American coffee company to do so. They’re definitely company worth supporting!

    I’ll have to try the Caribou coffee type! Lately I’ve been buying the Starbucks Sumatra and I also like the Newman’s Own kind.

    I haven’t been too his classes yet since they’re usually late. Is he great? I’m going in the morning :). Oh, and I got a Keurig for my birthday so I’ll try that flavor!

    i SOOOOOO wish we had a keurig! but sadly it’s just a normal coffee maker. i’m sure i’d love the caribou though!

    Bikram class is awesome! It does kick your butt, but I’m on a high the rest of the day! My favorite coffee brew though (I don’t have a cool coffee maker!) is definitely the dark french roast blend at Trader Joe’s. It’s nice and dark, but smooth and not bitter at all. Just the way I like my coffee! I’ll have to try caribou though, I always see them, but have never tried it.

    I love the Caribou too! And now I’ve turned my office onto it for the office Keurig and everyone is drinking it. Seems to be a hit.

    I don’t have a keurig (my old job did), but I love Caribou! I’m from MN, and when I head home, I love that I can drink that instead of Starbucks.

      I wish we had Caribou in Winston – only Starbucks. But I get excited when I go to Charlotte and can have it. 🙂

      Do you have Beans & Brews? They have those in Utah where I’m from and it’s pretty good!

    I recently got a Keurig! I am loving all the kinds I’ve tried. And GUESS WHAT? I just bought Caribou yesterday at TJ Maxx!

    I have a lot of favorites. Our new love is the Island Coconut (limited time ugh). I also love Nantucket, Butter Toffee….OK the list goes on lol Keurig rocks our world!

      Island Coconut? That sounds amazing? what brand makes it? And Butter Toffee?? Where do you get these magical flavors?!

        The Island Coconut is Green Mountain and Butter Toffee, Gloria Jeans. We get them at Bed, Bath & Beyond.

        Hubby’s favorite was cappuccino but BBB no longer carries it. Boo!
