My September Fabletics Picks

I have a really hard time parting with workout clothes. And not just sentimental race shirts. Old Target t-shirts, old shorts, everything. It’s so ridiculous. BUT, I think that my Fabletics membership is finally helping with this problem.

I’ve gotten more workout clothes in the past few months than I have in the past few YEARS. And not that I’m getting loads and loads of new stuff…it’s just that I previously never really bought workout clothes that often. Stuff in my workout clothes drawers is years old. And that’s pretty nasty considering how nasty-sweaty I get in them.

For September, since I had a little bit of a credit (thanks to you who used my referral link!), I got an outfit and a couple of a la carte items. This is what I got!

Salar Leggings
I LOVE these. I think they’re more comfortable than the Nadi legging and I feel like they’re more flattering (they have different seams). They are a much brighter purple than the picture shows but I like it. I used to hate purple…and I then bought the Croatia outfit in all purple. I don’t even know myself.

The black top above is the Aventura Tank. It’s super soft and I wear it all the time, for lounging, working out and with jeans. I’ll probably order a second one so I have one for sweaty workouts and one for wearing with outfits since I like it so much. It’s only $16!

Moro Shorts
I’m still iffy on them. They are comfortable and I like that I can fit my iPhone in the front pocket, but they are a wee bit short for me. When I’m running in the dark (or in San Fran where I don’t know anyone where I last wore them!), I’m not as self conscious, but I’d never wear them to the gym and they’re a bit short for daylight. 🙂 But, if you are a compression-shorts-type-of-girl and you’re ok with the shortness, these really are great. They’d be nice for hot yoga too.IMG_8353

Omemee Tank
They’ve had this tank in stock for a really long time and I finally got it. I love the subtle detailing of the asymmetrical front double strap and back. It has a built-in shelf bra with light removable padding. I took this picture with the padding in and then immediately took it out. It made it too tight and made me look too big up top. I really like the top now that I’ve taken the padding out. (The capri leggings are very old Lululemon wunderunders.)

Suva Run Short
I was super skeptical about the camo pattern when I ordered these, but I actually love it in person. However, I can’t recommend the Suva Run Shorts since the sizing is all over the place. I bought an XS last month and they were too big, so I got these in XXS and they are waaaaayyyyyyyy too tight and short. I tried wearing them once and they were just too uncomfortable and short. Fabletics really needs to get their sizing figured out on their looser shorts. This is the second style where I’ve had issues with sizing. image

I also got a second Embra Tank and a second Sevan Sports Bra.

If you’re new to Fabletics, I explain how it works in this (non-sponsored) post.

If you want to sign up, use my referral link. You get your first outfit for $25 and I get a $10 store credit. Win win!

P.S. Sorry my pictures are pretty grainy. It’s so dark in the mornings now when I’m taking these pictures!

If you’re a Fabletics member, what did you get this month?

Why do we have such a hard time parting with workout clothes?! I know I’ve posted about this in the past and many of you shared that you keep stuff forever too! I’m glad I’m not the only one!

Great review of your items! I, too, am a Fabletics lover and last month I got the Salar Capri in hot pink (my fave color so I HAD to) and also the Eureka long-sleeve shirt which is perfect for running outside in the fall with chillier temps. (especially here in Minnesota) I like that you review your items and spread the love and knowledge to everyone else:)

I want to get the hot pink capris next! I’m so glad to hear that you like the Eureka long-sleeve shirt. I want some new long-sleeves options but it looked REALLY long through the torso in the pictures onlien!

Great review! What size do you typically get in the tops? We seem to be similar in size and I am having a tough time deciding between sizes. Thanks!

I usually get XS, except I got an XXS in the Aventura tank because the Fit Survey said it ran loose and large. I’m glad I got that in the XXS, but the XS has been great in everything else!

Thank you so much for writing about Fabletics! I heard about it elsewhere and was on the fence about joining, but took the plunge after seeing your endorsement a few months ago. I’ve only gotten one outfit so far, Escalante: Aventura tank (LOVE), Lima capri (which I got in the grey Taos print to make yoga more fun), and Sevan bra (I like the fabric but something about the neck strap bugs me). I’ve also had my eye on the Omemee tank, so it’s nice to get your opinion on that. Since I just started practicing yoga seriously about a month ago, I’ve found that I really don’t have the gear I need for it—Fabletics is helping to fix that without completely destroying my bank account. Yay!

I’m so glad you’re liking Fabletics! When I started practicing yoga, I went through the same thing where I felt I didn’t have anything that worked well. Good tops are especially important so they don’t fall in my face in down dog! I like that I’m more willing to try patterns with Fabletics since it’s not crazy expensive. I’ll have to try the Taos print!

I just clicked over to Fabletics and that site seems SO COOL! I really need some new running tights. Would you recommend a pair of tights from them for running??

Hey girl! I haven’t had a chance to run in them yet; I kept waiting to respond to your comment, hoping I would, but it just hasn’t been cold enough yet to try. But, they seem like they would be. I don’t know how to explain it but they just seem more suited for running than my Lululemon WunderUnders.

I actually just ran in some this morning—their Nadi leggings. They worked well! Good compression, no chafing, and the little pocket in the waistband for my house key. I’d recommend them.
