Welcome to the holiday season! It’s that time of year where literally every store is having sales and having them often. Since Thanksgiving is so late in the month, I’m getting a head start on holiday shopping for the first time ever. I actually already have three gifts taken care of and I’m quite proud of myself. I’ll be sharing gift guides and favorite sales like this Nordstrom Fall Sale post during the holiday season to help you get your shopping done.
Nordstrom Fall Sale
First up, the Nordstrom Fall Sale. I loooove Nordstrom’s fall sale since it’s a great time to buy coats, shoes, and sweaters to get you through the rest of fall and into winter. I have, ahem, too much in my cart right now and really need to cull it down. But they have so many timeless styles on sale, up to 40% off. It ends on this coming Sunday, Nov 17th so hustle. Whether you buy gifts or a few things for yourself, it’s definitely a sale you don’t want to miss. You can shop the entire sale here and my top picks are below.
Can we talk about all the coats on sale? They’re BEAUTIFUL. Coats and jackets are one of the priciest things in my closet, but I have no qualms about investing in a quality coat. I’m a bit insufferable when I’m cold so I make sure I have a variety of coats for the season. Some for dressing up, some for dressing down, some for freaking cold weather and some for more moderate temps. You’ll see a few different styles for that reason. And remember, no one ever regrets buying a high-quality coat. What they do regret is a low-quality coat that rips after two months (yep, that’s happened to me) or worse, a coat that isn’t as warm as expected.
Next up, shoes. I rarely buy trendy shoes since I want shoes to last for years, which means they need to be comfortable, timeless and high quality. Booties are staples in my winter wardrobe since I can wear them for multiple seasons (spring, fall, winter and year after year). And one of my favorites on sale is this pair from Blondo. They are waterproof suede which means they’ll be warm, stylish and functional. I prefer suede booties over regular leather almost every time since I find they’re a little more comfortable and stretch to my foot more easily. (I have a slightly wide foot so that’s important to me!)
The sale sweater selection includes some great basics, perfect for layering. My favorite from the sweater sale items is this Chelsea28 turtleneck sweater. It comes in five colors, the cut looks flattering and comfy and the price is affordable, coming in under $50. I’m wearing a nearly identical one today! (I’ll upload a photo in LikeToKnow.it soon so make sure you follow me in that app!)
Don’t forget the sale ends Sunday and things will likely sell out, so shop soon!
