Pineapple Apple Super Smooth Green Smoothie
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 2 minutes
- Total Time: 7 minutes
- Yield: 1 smoothie 1x
- Category: smoothie
- Method: blender
- Cuisine: smoothie
Description
A tasty pineapple smoothie that kids and adults both love!
Ingredients
Pineapple Apple Green Smoothie
- 1 cup 100% pineapple juice
- 1 cup water (more or less depending on how thin/thick you like yours)
- 1 apple
- 3 handfuls spinach
- 5 stalks kale
- 1/2 avocado
- 1/2 scoop protein powder (I used my favorite, Plant Fusion)
Instructions
Blend until smooth. I throw the whole apple in there, because my vitamix can handle the whole thing! Another reason to invest π
Notes
I loved the addition of avocado; it created such a creamy texture and made for serious staying power. I drank about 3/4 of it and was stuffed. I took the rest to work in a jar that I drank a few hours later.
Bonus: I feel like the avocado helps the smoothie taste better as leftovers (usually leftover smoothies are ick to me). Avocado in smoothies weirded me out at first ,but I’m a big fan now.

atThis looks amazing! Did you put an apple in your blender or do you have a juicer?

atMy long run depends on what my work schedule is. If I work on Saturday (like this week) I do my long run on Sunday. If i don’t it is always on Saturday.
Protein powder question?
atHi where can I purchase your fav protein powder from? I want to have a change from the stuff I am using now… Thank you. Lovely blog btw, found you from google.
Thanks Hannah.
