Description

A tasty pineapple smoothie that kids and adults both love!


Ingredients

Pineapple Apple Green Smoothie

  • 1 cup 100% pineapple juice
  • 1 cup water (more or less depending on how thin/thick you like yours)
  • 1 apple
  • 3 handfuls spinach
  • 5 stalks kale
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 scoop protein powder (I used my favorite, Plant Fusion)

 


Instructions

Blend until smooth. I throw the whole apple in there, because my vitamix can handle the whole thing! Another reason to invest πŸ˜‰

 


Notes

I loved the addition of avocado; it created such a creamy texture and made for serious staying power. I drank about 3/4 of it and was stuffed. I took the rest to work in a jar that I drank a few hours later.

Bonus: I feel like the avocado helps the smoothie taste better as leftovers (usually leftover smoothies are ick to me). Avocado in smoothies weirded me out at first ,but I’m a big fan now.
