Happy Friday y’all! It’s a GORGEOUS day here. I started my morning with an early walk with Maizey and the weather was so pretty. We’re finally getting some normal temperatures for this time of year. We went from freezing and rainy to super, super hot and now we’ve normalized a bit and are enjoying spring-like weather. And here’s what I’ve been wearing lately!

Recent outfits (Instagram round-up!)

Legit obsessed with these white jeans. I blogged about them here with the Great White Jean Hunt. I also love these platform wedges. They give this shortie some serious height (making me at least 5’4″ 😉 ) and they’re really comfortable. They’re on sale right now too!

This dress is SO flattering and so comfortable. It can be casual with flats or a little dressier with wedge sandals or these Sam Edelman block heels (which I also love). The design is smart with  ruching in the lower back for a clean waistline without being too tight. (Tommy looooves this dress too, which is a nice bonus.)

I get so many compliments on these jeans. While I was a little nervous about the button-front, I’ve found them to be really comfortable and they make a regular ol’ t-shirt & jeans outfit a bit more fun.

We got a new enormous mirror in our entry way and I’m kind of obsessed with it. Plus, it makes for better selfies, and that’s what really matters, right? 😉

This is what I’m wearing today! Never mind that I dumped iced coffee all over my shorts this morning while grabbing coffee with a friend. You can’t even see it. That’s a good pair of shorts! I ordered my usual size 2 in the J.Crew Chino Shorts, but the stretch variety doesn’t lie – they definitely stretched out quite a bit, so I’d suggest sizing down.

Favorite Little Grey Dress – ruched bodycon dress from Nordstrom

I got this dress in March and it’s been so versatile. It’s easy to dress up and down with sandals or sneakers. And it looks really cute with a nicer cardigan or a denim jacket on the chilly nights. (Although, I think chilly nights are gone in North Carolina for a while!) It comes in a ton of colors, and I’m debating which color to get next since it’s so affordable. I’m thinking the purple petal or red baroque. Sizing tip: I got an XS for a snug fit, but I think I may size up to a S for my next one for a little variety. (And for a little more room for my squat-obsessed self. Ahem.)

I hope you have a lovely weekend! We have dinner with Tommy’s cousin and her husband tonight, and then dinner with Christian and her husband tomorrow. Should be a fun weekend!

    1. Hi Teri, A few months ago you recommended Kavita at kaya spa to get my eyebrows tinted and shaped, Kavita did an amazing job, thank you! I am now looking for a place to get my legs waxed and hair cut and also a place just to do a blow dry (maybe the same place as the cut?) Thanks so much in advance!
