Target® C9 Workout Clothes Review + My Picks

I’ve blogged about TargetĀ® C9 workout clothes before and how much I love them (and the affordable prices), so I was more than willing to partner with them again to try out some of their new pieces.

I was given a $50 budget and I was able to get three pieces for about that! Such a steal — especially now that I’ve tried them out and can vouch for their greatness. šŸ™‚

  • C9 by ChampionĀ® Women’s Premium Run Short
  • C9 by ChampionĀ® Women’s Raglan Sleeve Top
  • C9 by ChampionĀ® Womens Long-Sleeve Performance Cotton Tee

I’m pretty picky about running shorts. They need to fit comfortably in the waist, have storage for a key, have a stretchy liner (I’ve learned the stretchy aspect is KEY and rare), be long enough and cut well to cover the parts of my legs I’m a little more self-conscious about, and not be too expensive. So, yeah, it’s a tough assignment for any shorts to complete. But I would give these shorts an A-. They seriously are AWESOME, especially for the price. The only thing I would change is just a teensy bit more length, but it’s not a deal breaker at all. They’re definitely longer and cut in a more flattering way than most running shorts I’ve tried recently.

And the long-sleeved cotton tee is great too! It’s soooo soft. I wanted a more fitted, long-sleeve running top since all of mine are too-big-and-too-baggy freebies that I’ve gotten at races, so I was happy when this arrived and it was a bit more fitted. It comes in lots of fun colors, too. When I’m doing workouts at the gym, I’ve been putting this on as I head out of the gym, and it’s so cozy and keeps me warm. (It’s also great for running in cooler temps.)clip_image004

Back to the shorts – they’re so cute with the gray and blue colorblocking. (Pardon the wrinkles; I pulled them right out of the package and tried them on. I’ve since washed them and they don’t stay wrinkled like that.)clip_image006

The gray is an on-trend heather gray and there’s that must-have pocket I told you about. clip_image008

The raglan sleeve top is also a winner! I have another top like this with the half zipper that I wear all.the.time and I wanted another one. I was so happy that it fits like a dream – not too tight and not too baggy, super soft like the performance tee, and I love the rich periwinkle color that was even better in person than it looked online. clip_image010

The ventilation up top is an especially nice touch.clip_image012

So I’m three for three on all the things I got from the TargetĀ® C9 collection this time. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I am SO impressed with the TargetĀ® C9 items! They fit great, they’re cute, and they’re really comfortable for all my workouts (running and lifting weights in particular), or just for lounging.

So, bottom line: would I spend my own money on these workout clothes? ABSOLUTELY. I’m planning to get another pair of the shorts when the black ones are back in stock or if I see them in the store.

Target is a serious danger zone for me. I could spend all my money there and I love their workout clothes too!

I buy a lot of C9 workout gear and love it. They’ve lasted me a long time. I’m just now seeing wear on my crops after at least 3+ years of having them. And for $20ish that’s not bad at all. Love the colors of everything you picked out.

I really love all 3 of those pieces!! I’m going to check them out! I’ve had good luck with the C9 line, too, and some of my older stuff could use replacing.
