Summer Bucket List

I started writing my summer bucket list in May, after being inspired by Janetha’s summer bucket list.  And now summer is half-way over and I never finished it! So I guess I better put this out there even though it’s not complete. I always have fall bucket lists (best season ever!) but i’m not sure if I’ve ever done a summer one. So, here we go. It’s incomplete but I can just keep adding to it – I’m aiming for 30 activities. And mayyyybe you can leave me some ideas for summer activities in the comment to help me complete the list. Deal? Deal!

1. Go camping

2. Go to the pool. (check!)

3. Go to the beach. (check!)

4. Finish decorating my guest room.

5.  Make coconut milk ice cream (copied from Janetha!)

6. Make a silhouette print of Maizey.

7. Listen to live music outdoors.

8. Visit a new winery.

9. Go to a festival.

10. Have a picnic.

11. Visit a lake.

12. Go hiking.

13. Go fishing.

14. Play a game, like Catch Phrase or a card game.

15. Run a race.

16. Teach Maizey a new trick.

17. Go to a movie at a/perture.

18. Try a new-to-me restaurant.

That’s all I can come up with. Help me with some more ideas, k? Thanks. :)

I want try stand up paddle boarding this summer! And also make coconut milk ice cream, but that seems to be a universal want. 😉

Summer is flying by way to quickly! You have reminded me I need to make a summer bucket list too. I feel like I have wasted most of my summer days and that is not cool :/

I think my goal for this summer is just to enjoy it as much as possible and get outdoors as much as I can! SInce I live in Erie, PA we only get about 3 months of summer and 9 months of winter – so it is important to enjoy every single minute of it!

Maybe have a picnic? I always want to do that and forget about it.

Visit a waterpark or theme park. Go to a museum. Read x number of books. Go to an art painting/wine drinking class.

I just moved from NY to NC so for me summer has been extended! We usually had about 3 months of warm weather in NY. My summer bucket list includes enjoying a cup of coffee on our balcony, going for a night swim in our pool, meeting a new friend, go for a picnic, run a road race.

Just out of curiosity, have you heard of Day Zero’s 101 things in 1001 days? It’s a bucket list with a difference! I started my list (you can see it on my blog) a bit over a month ago. Good luck with your summer list!
