The Best Tuckernuck Blouses for Your Closet
Recently on Instagram, I was asked, “If you could only shop in one place for the rest of your life, where would it be?” The answer to that question has changed a LOT over the past decade as my style as evolved. When I was living in Utah (I’m from there!), I was not as partial to the colorful, preppy, feminine brands that I saw on women in the south, but in the last few years, that’s what I’ve started gravitating towards. I guess that’s what living in the South for over a decade years will do to you ;).
So, the answer to that question now? Hands down, Tuckernuck. I love almost every single thing they carry, and if I am shopping at another retailer, and I’m not quite sure how I feel about any given item, I tend to ask myself, “Would Tuckernuck carry it?” and if the answer is yes, I feel confident in the style! It’s impressive to me that their clothes are great for both 20-somethings and the almost 40-year-old mom like me. It’s classic, American and feminine – everything I want my style to be!
They’ve become my go-to for dresses, earrings, shoes, and even home decor/gifts. The brand was started by Jocelyn Moore Gailliot, Madeline Moore, and September Rinnier in 2012, and has grown into huge online retailer since then. They source their items from only the best designers, and I’ve been introduced to some of my favorite brands through them.
12 Tuckernuck Blouses
In today’s post, I’m rounding up my favorite blouses from their current selection. I recently placed a large Tuckernuck order in preparation for the fall, and I am SO excited about the stuff coming my way. When it all arrives, I’ll add pictures to this post. Unfortunately some of the items I got are almost sold out (like this bone suede top that also comes in a malachite suede color). I’ll also plan to update this post as we get closer to winter since they’ll carry lots of sweaters and knits around that time.
Alrighty, here are the Tuckernuck tops I’m loving lately.
Ivory Americana Sweater
There’s nothing more me than this sweater. I love all things America, and this is such a tasteful sweater all year. I think I’d get the ivory version since I could wear it in the summer, pair with jeans, and even denim shorts. But I love all three color options, though! It’s pricey ($248.00) but since it’s a classic piece that I know I’ll wear forever, I don’t mind. It’s made with 100% cotton and I ordered an XS. I’ll update with photos when it comes in. I love timeless, classic pieces that show my love for the United States!
Navy Striped Vesty Long Sleeve Crewneck
Another classic top – this striped 3/4 length sleeve top! I’ve always loved stripes, and I’m so excited that they are trending again this year. I got rid of a similar top this spring since it was old and needed to be replaced, and I think I’m going to get this Pomander Place top instead. I love that the shoulders have a slight puff and that the neckline is all white–it’s just fun and easy! I’ll pair it with jeans this fall. You’ll love the price too!
Canary Ruffle Rela Blouse
I was very surprised by the price for this Canary Ruffle Rela Blouse. It’s so beautiful and such a statement that I figured it would be very pricey, but it’s under $100! I LOVE this mango color, and can’t wait to wear it this fall. I’ll pair with jeans.
Carmine Willa Top
This top is a great staple for the fall. I love the burnt orange color, the material, and the small ruffles on the sleeves. I have a dress from the same brand and the quality is top notch. I’d definitely style it the same way as the model has, all the way tucked in to my jeans. I think a peasant top like this is a great staple for fall. If you prefer a pattern, this Iris Wildflower Bardot Top is a similar peasant style.
Tan Tommy Short Sleeve Crewneck
I ordered this top for this fall since everyone needs a good basic tee. But I already have a white tee, so I got this in tan. I love the flutter sleeves and the simple crew neck. The price is great too! The model styles it with gold jewelry, and that’s exactly how I plan to wear it.
Poppy Red Willow Blouse
This blouse is very chic with the stand-up collar. I love the red for fall and holidays (imagine how cute it’d be with faux leather leggings!). They have this in a blue stripe willow that I also love, but that feels too summer-y for me.
White and Brown Floral Sauda Top
This White and Brown Floral Sauda Top would be SO cute with jeans and heels for a night out. The colors feel very “fall” to me, and this cropped style is super flattering with high waisted jeans. Since the material is embroidered eyelet floral-print cotton, it would be a great top for the warmer months of fall, but likely too summery for a cold month like November. The best part is that it’s on sale for almost 50% off. It’s a pricey top, so if you’re interested, snag it now!
Off White And Blue Elisa Top
If you have a birthday coming up, add the Off White And Blue Elisa Top to you wishlist. I love everything about this top. It’s such a cute top for fall that would actually still work in the spring and summer. I think it’s the natural off-white linen material that makes me feel this way. The crop makes it flattering with high waisted jeans, and the blue piping and ruffles are adorable. It’s very pricey, but splurge-worthy in my opinion.
Black Finley Flutter Sleeve Top
I’ve had this top on my list for a while. It’s a great pop-over top for jeans, and could be dressed up or down! The price is great and it comes in 5 colors.
Black Clayton Knit Polo
The Black Clayton Knit Polo is a really great everyday top option from Tuckernuck. The black color is fully stocked, too! I love that this is a thinner knit, perfect for the early months of fall. The collar is right up my ally, and the length makes it feel casual. I’d tuck the front into jeans.
Navy Faye Blouse
This top is a very chic option for nights out this fall and winter. I think the key is wearing your hair up, so that the ruffle neck and bow on the back can have their moment. I’d pair this with jeans, heels, and a cute bag for dinner!
Greenbriar Bexley Sweater
You can’t beat the color of this Greenbriar Bexley Sweater. I LOVE how bright and fun it is, while still being totally the right green for fall. The gold buttons on the side are very chic and make the sweater feel much more special than a basic knit. The length is perfect for leggings since it covers your bum, and that’s just how I’d wear it.
That’s all I’ve got for today, but I’ll keep updating this post as Tuckernuck gets new arrivals. Happy shopping!
