The Weekender + Last Week’s Workouts

Happy Monday! I had grand plans to get this post up yesterday but then my day flew by with some things Tommy and I needed to work on with the wedding and moving and such. So, I’m a day late, but I’m still in Weekend mode so that counts for something right? đŸ˜‰

Lilly Pulitzer: their semi-annual sale is happening now and ends Wednesday. Basically their entire site is on sale, which is amazing. You may have to get a “number” and wait to get into the site so it doesn’t crash, but it’s wroth the wait. SO many good things. Their shift dresses and long-sleeved dresses are my go-to’s. I’ll also work on getting a post up with my picks soon, but if you see stuff you like, shop ASAP since it sells out quickly. I learned this the hard way last year.

Last Week’s Workouts

M – 5 miles, 8:18 pace through Piedmont Park and along the Beltline. It was gorgeous!

T – 3.3 miles, 8:30 pace through Piedmont Park. I had no idea they were filming a movie and having American Idol auditions in the park. Ha! I also took a Flywheel class that night which was really fun! I can’t wait until Winston’s Cyclebar studio opens in December since we don’t have a boutique spin studio in Winston.

W – Hotel gym workout: elliptical intervals + full body strength circuit

Th – 5 miles, 8:40 pace through Piedmont Park and along the Beltline


S – Partner WOD with Tommy. Rowing, handstand holds, and wallballs!

Su – 5.3 mile run, 7:59 pace. It was 65 degrees and felt AMAZING!!!!shorts | tank | shoes | watch

Total Miles: 18.6

How I feel: Considering I was traveling all last week in Atlanta for work, I think it was a pretty solid week of workouts! The cooler weather and lower humidity has felt heavenly the past couple days since I’ve been home. My hamstring is still really bugging me though, so I think I need to get into my PT for needling.
