Huge Beautycounter Product Launch + my top picks

The best Beautycounter holiday gift sets to buy for yourself and others!

Beautycounter launched their holiday sets today and even though I’m just getting into major fall mode for decorating and my wardrobe, I wanted to share because they launched some awesome new products, holiday gifting or not. I shared my top picks to buy for yourself and my top picks for gift giving. If you’re one of those people who knocks holiday shopping out early, you’ll definitely want to add a few things to your cart! A number of these sets are perfect for stocking stuffers or breaking up for smaller gifts that are more affordable (e.g. the jellies are perfect for pairing with a hand lotion or a cute notebook for a teacher gift).

As a consultant, I got to shop and try the products early and these are a few of my favorites! You can see the full holiday collection here.

Top picks to buy for yourself

The Jellies

They had the Jellies last year and I was shocked by how much I liked them. They provide a nice shine, I love love love the flavors and they’re easy to apply without a mirror. I planned to give them away as gifts and then kept them all myself. Oops. These make a great stocker stuffer for tweens too! And, they’re a fun throwback to my middle school days as well.

I love the colors included in the Shimmers.

Both are so pretty, and like I mentioned above, these are perfect for splitting into smaller gifts. Even just one jelly and a sweet note is a perfect little happy for a friend.

Golden Hour All-in-One Palette

Beautycounter hasn’t had a complete face palette in a few years and this one is GORGEOUS! It has four eye shadows, a blush and a highlighter. I am for SURE keeping this for myself! This is probably the product I’m most excited about to keep for myself out of the entire collection!

Top Picks for Gifting

Beyond Gloss Trio

If I didn’t already have these shades, I’d keep them for myself. But since I have them, I know how good they are and what a great gift this will make! The gloss and packaging is gorgeous. I’m planning to gift this set to my mother-in-law (shhh!).

Bright Side Duo

This set has two of my skincare must-haves –– the Overnight Peel and All Bright C serum. They’re products that are great for all skin types and can be added to any skincare routine. This is a great gift for moms or sisters! If I was recommending only 1 product from Beautycounter (which I get asked a lot!), it would be the Overnight Peel, hands down (review here). However, the Vitamin C Serum is a very close second (review here). The fact that these are a set together is so great.

Bright Side Duo

Special Edition Cleansing Balm

I am OBSESSED with the Cleansing Balm. I use it daily–– especially in the colder months when my skin becomes extra dry. It can even be used as an overnight mask. I have an entire blog post dedicated to reviewing it that you can read here.

This Special Edition version is incredible because it’s almost TWICE the size of the normal cleansing balm. The Limited Edition balm is muchh more bang for your buck.

Good Scents Hand Cream Trio

This set is perfect for splitting up. There’s no getting around washing your hands like crazy this fall and winter, so these hand creams are essential. I love the sizes. I’m going to keep one in my car, one in my diaper bag, and one in my bathroom. This is a great gift for hairstylist, esthetician, etc.

Shopping tips

When I first joined Beautycounter as a consultant, I didn’t really believe when they said holiday products would sell out. But… after four holiday seasons with the company, I now know that they do. So if there is anything you KNOW you want, shop sooner than later. And keep in mind that unless you’re doing direct shipping (i.e. mailing the gifts directly to the recipient), you’ll need to ship gifts to yourself and then mail them out to anyone who lives far away. So leave yourself a little buffer so you’re not waiting in line with the rest of humanity at the post office in mid December!

Their products make gifting easy since I know they’re high-quality, the packaging is beautiful and people love being treated to nice products they wouldn’t buy for themselves. (If you’re not familiar with Beautycounter, this post explains what makes their products different and better than conventional beauty products.) Plus, each gift set comes in a lovely box, so you can just put a ribbon and a gift tag on it, and you’re good to go! Ultimate time saver!

Hi Teri, do you use the beautycounter eye makeup remover when you’re wearing eyelash extensions? I see that it has oil in it and I thought you couldn’t use oil-based products while wearing extensions.

I did use it while I had lashes, but only to remove eyeshadow and eyebrow pencil. I used a cotton pad and was careful not to let it touch my lashes or lash line. But my lashes are gone now so now I’m using it freely! 🙂
