Gift Guide for Her – gift ideas for your best friend, mom or sister!

Ideas for the ladies in your life! Gifts ideas from custom tote bags to fun sneakers.

I love love love making gift guides for ladies. It’s probably the easiest guide I make each year since I just compile my own Christmas list or a list of things I own and LOVE. This year, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite fashion finds (but don’t worry, the sizing is easy!) and a few beauty essentials that I seriously love and use daily.

My top picks this year is this concourse boarding bag leather carry-on tote.  I haven’t seen a bag I love more than this! It’s not a suitcase (I’m VERY picky about my suitcases and only use AWAY luggage (use that link for $20 off!), but it’s a carry-on tote that sits on top of your suitcase as you navigate the airport, or it could be carried as a work bag. It’s stunning and sturdy AND can also be monogrammed.

I wanted to make sure I published this post early this year because there is a large supply and shipping shortage right now! So I HIGHLY recommend shopping early this year to make sure you can get gifts under the tree in time. I also love to shop early every year so that I can enjoy it so much more and can focus more on enjoying the holiday season once it arrives.

Gift Guide for Her

1.) Concourse Boarding Bag

I’m always drawn to leather because it’s timeless and ages so well. This leather is vegan and it’s gorgeous. You can have it monogrammed with initials in gold too and it’s really subtle and pretty. I love that the shoulder strap is adjustable. It’s large enough for a weekend trip, or a great work bag for your laptop. I’m just obsessed with how sleek this is!

2.) Beautycounter Cream Blush

This blush launched a few weeks ago and I LOVE how it looks and feels. It comes in 8 shades and the compact is refillable, so you can pop a new color or replacement in whenever you want. I love that the compact has a mirror, and I can easily throw it into my purse when I leave the house. I use it on my lips AND on my eyelids too. It truly does it all and looks natural and glowy. I also have a full review with my favorite shades and application tips here. My personal favorite shades are Rosebud and Paloma.

3.) Equilibria CBD Bundle

I started taking Equilibria CBD this summer and it’s been a game changer. In fact, I struggle a lot with falling asleep and sleeping through the night and this has made a big difference. I also take it during the day when I feel stress coming on and it helps calm me down subtly without making me feel weird. I tried it for months to see if I noticed a difference before I decided to recommend it. But I wholeheartedly recommend it now. I wrote a full review on the blog with all the details and the products I use the most here.

The best option to gift is the Relief+ bundle. It has three of my favorite items — Daily Drops, Daily Softgels, and the Relief Balm — all of which are great items to start with if you’re new to CBD. The bundle saves you 20% and then if you use the code “afoodiestaysfit” you get an additional 15% off first order. (You can get 25% off if you order before the end of October!!) I trust Equilibria as a company and I’ve chatted with them frequently about questions I have. They’re super responsive and helpful!

4.) Madewell Kickoff Trainer Sneakers

I just got these and I LOVE THEM. I’ve been looking for a cute sneaker to wear with jeans this fall and I finally found these. They’re cuter than all white sneakers with the neutral colors added in, and they’re easier to style, especially in the fall and winter. I also love the mixed materials with leather, rubber, and cotton. The combo makes them a little more casual than a full leather sneaker, which is great for the outfits I typically wear. They’re not too chunky, but do have a little bit of weight to them, which also looks great with jeans.

Plus, they’re 30% off right now with the code GOSPREE.

5.) T3 Curling Iron

Every time I curl my hair I get asked about it and this is my response: practice and the T3 curling iron! I had a really old cheap iron before this one and it worked fine, but once it broke I decided to snag this during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. I was SHOCKED at how much better it was than my old one. My hair holds curls for so much longer with this and it isn’t causing as much heat damage. It heats up so fast and it’s easy to use. It’s a great gift for any lady! (Here’s my tutorial for curling your hair!)

6.) Barefoot Dreams Blanket

I am sitting under one of these as I write this post. It’s the softest blanket EVER. I kept hearing about Barefoot Dreams from other bloggers for years and I was convinced it was overrated, butttt it’s not. It’s THE best gift to give anyone, but especially the special women in your life. (It’s what I gave our nanny for her birthday and my mother-in-law for Mother’s Day!) Cream is my favorite color option.

7.) PIMA Pajamas

I love a good set of pajamas and these are my favorites for all seasons. These are so soft and so pretty! I wear these shorts or these pants with this tank, and I have them in black. I want the pink too! They’re a great price point too.

8.) Athleta 1/2 Zip

I got this a few weeks ago too! I love it for running and wearing around the house. Actually, I didn’t own much Athleta until this year. I kept going into Lululemon and wishing for more colors or a better fit, and then one day I went into Athleta and they had SO MUCH CUTE STUFF. I love both brands, but recently I’ve been reaching for my Athleta more often since I find it more flattering.

9.) Primally Pure Plumping Mist

I freaking love this stuff. My skin get super dry in the colder months, so I use this right as I wake up (before running) and also keep one on my desk for a mid-day refresh. It also smells amazing (and I’m super sensitive to scents). This would make a great stocking stuffer paired with their Gua Sha Stone (which I use after applying my serums and moisturizers).

10.) Bandwagon 51mm Sunglasses

These are my most worn sunglasses this year! They look good on everyone and they’re really durable (I even run in them sometimes!). I love the blue mirrored lenses on these and I also love the tort frames, which I also own and love. If you prefer the shape of RayBans, I own these and these and love them both. I do find the Bandwagon glasses more durable, however.

11. Bala Bangles

I got these a few months ago and never knew how to use them! But a few days ago Hannah told me I needed to try them with a pilates class and she was right. I LOVE THEM. They go on your wrists or ankles and the added weight gives you the perfect amount of extra work in your arms and legs. They’re under $50 too, so they’d be a perfect gift this year!

12. Lake Pajamas

I love the nightgowns from LAKE. The stripes are totally my style, preppy without being over the top. Hannah is obsessed with LAKE and she swears the quality is unmatched. They do shrink a tad in the wash, so size up for a looser fit, or hang to dry (but honestly who has time for that?). I love this one, this one, and this one.

13. 3 Piece Stacking Jewelry Boxes

Not only are these practical for storing jewelry, they’re so cute for the top of a dresser! I love the gold handles and the ivory color. They have 5 stars on Amazon too!

14. Caraway Pots and Pans

We got Caraway pots and pans this year to replace the old stuff we had. We seriously love them! They’re non-toxic and they work perfectly. I actually like them better than Le Cruset. Can we also talk about how pretty they are? They’d be perfect for a mom who loves to cook!

15. Nespresso Machine

Every coffee lover needs a Nespresso. I love this white one. It’s not too big, and it would look great on a counter!

16. Sonia Kashuk Flat-Top Foundation Brush

This foundation brush is currently in my cart. I love the Beautycounter Better Blender a lot, but sometimes I want to use a foundation brush too. This one is only $10 and the shape is perfect. It would make a great stocking stuffer!

17. Charlotte Tilbury Setting Spray

I’ve heard raving reviews for this setting spray! I’m adding it to my wishlist 🙂 Perfect for any beauty junkie.

18. NYX Lip Liner

These are $4 a piece and PERFECT stocking stuffers! I don’t wear a lot of lip liner but I’m adding to my list to try! I want the “Natural” and “Ever” shades.
