The most flattering long sleeve tie waist dress ever + a round up of other recent outfits.

Happy Friday! I haven’t done an outfit round-up in a while, but rest assured, I have still been getting dressed each day. 😉 It’s still pretty dang warm here in Winston-Salem, so while I kind of want to be wearing jeans and sweaters, I’m still wearing dresses and tanks. But hey, better warm than freezing! A lot of the things in this post are on sale since they were spring/summer purchases, but they will transition perfectly to fall with cardigans or sweaters on top.

I’ve been wearing this long sleeve tie waist dress nonstop. I have the stripe tie-waist shirtdress (and it’s on sale!), but J.Crew has the same shirt dress in some gorgeous darker solid colors. I’m definitely going to snag one (or two) because this dress fits like a dream.

I don’t even know who I am wearing distressed jeans considering I was opposed for years. My concern was looking sloppy but for some reason, I feel more put together wearing them. I’m sure my parents would disagree. My dad would always say “Who would pay money for jeans with holes in them?!” Sorry Dad 😉 I’ve got another pair of distressed jeans on my fall fashion wishlist blog post, which is coming soon!

Side note: These Kork-Ease sandals have been really comfortable as I’ve been dealing with plantar fasciitis.
